Our Story
Enaqua was founded by seasoned professionals from the FMCG and engineering industries — people who’ve worked inside the operations they now serve. That background matters: it means we combine deep technical knowledge with a practical understanding of how plants actually run, from poultry processing lines to specialised healthcare clinics.
It also shaped our priorities. We build systems that are reliable, easy to operate, and engineered to perform in real African conditions — not just on a spec sheet. And because we believe great water treatment shouldn’t depend on overseas supply chains, we back everything with local engineering, stock and support.

Enaqua is a proudly African water-treatment company, specialising in tailored purification and disinfection systems for critical sectors. Our mission is simple: to provide high-performance, locally supported water treatment that holds up under the toughest demands — in healthcare, food production and industry.

Lead by: Brandon Mitchell
Brandon brings over 25 years of experience in water treatment, with a specific focus on process design, process efficiency and Chlorine Dioxide (ClO₂) as a chemical technology. He was part of the select group that introduced ClO₂ into the South African food & beverage industry as an alternative disinfection method — an approach now widely accepted and recognised.
With a BSc in Microbiology and Physiology, Brandon’s focus spans the design, building and implementation of all water systems — disinfection, filtration and supply. His in-depth understanding of water treatment, disinfection, oxidation, microbiological water quality, UV and Chlorine Dioxide enables him to manage the process design and operation of water-treatment plants and disinfection projects, large or small. While ClO₂ is now common, it’s the process-design nuance and hard-won experience Brandon brings that makes Enaqua one of the true experts in this field.
